The ninth edition of the wine event organized by the Consorzio Vini Venezia returns on May 23 in the historic Giardino Mistico dei Carmelitani Scalzi
Feel Venice 2026 returns to the heart of Venice on Saturday, May 23, bringing together wine lovers, professionals and visitors for a unique tasting experience dedicated to the wines of the historic Serenissima Republic.
Now in its ninth edition, the event will take place in the evocative Giardino Mistico dei Carmelitani Scalzi, a hidden green space in the city that offers the perfect setting to discover the wines protected by the Consorzio Vini Venezia.
From 2:00 PM to 9:30 PM, guests will have the opportunity to explore the wines of 20 selected wineries, meet producers, and participate in guided tastings designed to highlight the unique terroirs of the regions of Venice, Treviso and Pordenone.
Discovering the Five Denominations of the Venice Wine Consortium
The main goal of Feel Venice is to showcase the five wine denominations protected by the Consorzio Vini Venezia, each representing a distinctive part of northeastern Italy’s wine heritage:
- Malanotte del Piave DOCG
- Lison DOCG
- Venezia DOC
- Lison Pramaggiore DOC
- Piave DOC
Together, these appellations tell the story of a vast and diverse territory stretching across the eastern Po Valley.
The Venezia DOC expresses the vineyards located between the provinces of Venice and Treviso, framed by the Dolomites to the north and the Venetian Lagoon and Adriatic Sea to the south.
The Lison DOCG and Lison Pramaggiore DOC originate from one of the region’s most historic wine areas, located just a few kilometers from the Venetian coastline and bordered by the Tagliamento River to the east and the Livenza River to the west.
Finally, the Malanotte del Piave DOCG and Piave DOC denominations follow the course of the Piave River, from the northeastern borders of the province of Treviso to the hills of Conegliano and Montello, reaching the inland areas near Venice.
A Wine Journey Through the Lands of the Serenissima
“Feel Venice is an invitation to experience the most authentic expression of the wines and territories we represent,” says Stefano Quaggio, Director of the Consorzio Vini Venezia.
“Once again, the event aims to highlight the value of our denominations and the producers who enhance their wine, historical and cultural richness. Returning to such a symbolic place for Venice — a garden that protects endangered plant varieties — allows us to create an experience that combines the wines of the Serenissima, the work of our producers, and the identity of this territory.”
Wine, History and Nature in the Mystic Garden
During the event, visitors will also have the opportunity to explore the secret garden preserved within the walls of the Discalced Carmelite convent.
Guests can stroll among vegetable gardens, vineyards and orchards, cared for by the Carmelite friars, and visit the nearby Church of Santa Maria di Nazareth, creating an experience that blends wine, art and historical heritage.
In the late afternoon, live music will accompany the tastings, while starting at 8:00 PM, visitors will also be able to enjoy a culinary offering curated by the Consorzio Vini Venezia, pairing local dishes with the wines of the territory.
Tickets and Visitor Information
Admission to Feel Venice 2026 costs €20 per person, while masterclasses will be free of charge.
All proceeds from the event will be donated to the Giardino Mistico dei Carmelitani Scalzi to support the preservation and maintenance of the Mystic Garden.
